There is a bounty upon my head... or rather my hat. I have a propensity to wear, euphemistically, floppy hats... Wide brimmed hats to keep the sun out of my eyes. Well, I have upped the ante and am in the process of making a Steel Wide Brimmed Hat. (or a Kettle Helm... if you will.)

Due to life in general, it has taken me a lot of time to get my studio up an running. Specifically this refers to the Forge which has been finally setup and tested (Exhaust of heat & fumes). With this final piece in place, that and a new oxy tank for soldering, I am up and running.

 

If you are in the area and belong to House Manticore, Byzantium or Wolfpack and wish to purchase some 'Shop Time,' please let me know and I will attempt to accommodate you the best way that I can. When I state: Purchase Shop Time, in a perfect world I would be able to generously donate my time, tools and supplies at no cost to you. Unfortunately as this is a hobby for me and my funds are certainly limited, I cannot afford to supply others hobbies as well. Shop costs are $6 per hour, which will cover expenses such as fuel, grinding, sanding & cutting supplies that you may use. Furthermore, any raw materials that you may need will have to be purchased by you from an outside source. I recommend purchasing from Morris Tick in Bloomington. Just let them know you are 'Scrapping' and they will be more than willing to accommodate you. They also sell new materials as well.
